This week Cricut Cardz Challenge is to have a bird or butterfly on your card. I used the Serenade cartridge to create the bird and cage. The cage was cut at 4 inches and the bird at 1.5 inches. Sadly this did not do well in the photo because the cage seems to blend in with the background:( I really like this cartridge and hope to find more time soon to explore the possibilities. Currently I am up to my neck in alligators consolidating my 3 "craft caves" into one while sorting through 31 years of collected stuff for a giant neighborhood garage sale...no where to donate or sell no longer used rubber stamps...I seriously doubt they will sell well in a garage sale. Be sure to check out the other DT cards this week at Cricut Cardz Challenge.

Hi Nancy--I just love your little bird cage card. I've thought about getting that cartridge, but it seems to have a lot of images that I already have on other cartridges. But when you see something made up with it, like your adorable card, it tempts! LOL Hugs, Jeri
ReplyDeleteNancy, this card is wonderful! I haven't checked out this cart yet, but I agree with Jeri...it looks very tempting after seeing your adorable card! Thanks for another great card for CCC!

Hi again Nancy...thanks for the sweet comment you left on my blog.
ReplyDeleteYou wanted to know what a Roadtrek is....it is a small Class B Conversion Van that is made by a Company in Canada called "Home and Park" using Chevy Express vans made here in the USA. Their website is www.roadtrek.com My dh and I love traveling in it and we tow our Jeep to get to 'out of the way places'. Let me know if you have any questions...I'd be happy to answer them.
Hugs,
Terry
I just have to ask, I was looking at someone else blog and I see the name Nancy Sanders. Could this be the Nancy I remember from Gurnee Mills???? From Donna's stamp store??? That came into Stampfastic all the time??? If it is this is Pat St Martin. I use to teach at the store. Do you remember me? If you are that person my blog address is http://rubberstampingismygame.blogspot.com/ All kinds of things are going on in my head if you are her it is like finding a long lost friend.
