A Family Holiday Traditions Photo Memory Album

I designed this Memory-Photo Card Album for my daughter who is a 4th grade dual language (English-Spanish) teacher. Their classroom theme was "A Receipe for Culture" and this custom made booklet contained my stories of the holidays that we celebrated as a family when she was about their age. Cricut Cardz Challenge #2

This is the second week for the Cricut Cardz Challenge and the theme is Thanksgiving. I used the Doodle Charms cartridge to create my card this week. I must be honest and tell you that I was hard pressed to create a card this week therefore I am especially excited to see all the other entries for inspiration. The beauty of the Cricut Cardz Challenge is to provide Cricut users inspiration in using the cartridges!

Cricut Cardz Challenge #1

I am proud to report that I am an official member on the design team for an exciting new card challenge called Cricut Cardz Challenge. Today, November 11, is the site's official launching. Be sure to check it out all you Cricut lovers. I have been looking for a challenge site like this for over a year. Mary, the creator and owner of the challenge site, is an extremely talented lady and her creations are amazing. Cricut Cardz Challenge promises to provide wonderful card creations to inspire Cricut lovers. I used Paper Pups and New Arrival Cricut cartridges to make this card. I made it to sent to my friend who is getting a new male puppy this week!

I combined 3 card challenges in this one card. The Pile It On challenge was to use the colors black, white plus one other. The layout of the card is based on the sketch this week at ICS #34. The challenge over at Spoonful of Sugar is to create a fall inspired card.

This week's challenge theme was "faking it"... and so I have a fake flower, created with scalloped circle punches, fake ribbon, fake lace and fake stitching...how is that for "faking it"?

This is the first card I made for this week's challenge at Papertake Weekly, where I an a guest designer for the next 4 weeks. The challenge theme for this week's challenge was "faking it" and so the only faking I could think of was stitching. I later put on my thinking cap and came up with another card for the challenge with more faking it ideas. Be sure to check out the card challenges at Papertake Weekly. 365 Cards#185, Cupcake Craft #55, CPS #131

BlahI was able to satisfy 3 chard challenges this week with this card. The 365 challenge was 3 shade of blue. The Cupcake Craft recipe was 3 buttons, 1 ribbon and 2 papers and the layout of the card is based on this week's CPS sketch.

TPE#30,Spoonful of Sugar#76,Creative card Crew#2,Pile it On

I was able to satisfy 4 card challenges this week with this card! The Pile it On challenge was anything round which is found in the ribbon, patterned paper and the one button. TPE challenge was the recipe:1 ribbon, 2 squares and something that sparkles, the gold button. The Spoonful of sugar challenge was distressing, the heart is torn paper. The Creative Card Crew challenge was to use the colors pink, black and white.

This week and next I am a guest designer for ICS. This is my card for the challenge sketch #131. I really enjoy participating in the ICS card challenges. The sketches are always great and the design team is very supportive. They always leave such uplifting comments about my cards.
